Fox Hunting / Radio Direction Finding
The monthly OH-KY-IN fox hunt is held on the second Saturday of every month, start time is 10:00 AM.Setup usually occurs at least 30 minutes prior to the hunt start - at 1 second past 10AM, we are gone!
We begin at Mt. Storm Park in Clifton (click HERE for a map).
Come out and see how we set up, look at our equipment, ride along if you like, or give it a try yourself.
It is surprisingly easy to get started, and we will help anyone who wants to get into it.
Loaner equipment will be available, so if you are interested in trying it out, please let us know ahead of time
so that way we will bring extra equipment, as well as giving us time to adjust the difficulty level.
We will be monitoring the 146.670 (-) PL123 repeater before the hunt if anyone needs directions, or any other info.
And, if you're hungry and thirsty following the hunt, come join us for the Brunch Bunch at 1PM
