While working from home on Monday, I turned on the 2-meter, and heard a very interesting conversation. Jim, KC9VKV connected with our very own Joe, KA2UYB via our 146.67 repeater. From 115 miles away in New Albany, IN. That’s just outside of Louisville, KY.
The very cool part was that Jim, has a regularly updated YouTube channel where he interviews his contacts and posts the entire conversation on YouTube. For those who do not know Joe is one of our blind members, so Jim asked him questions on the unique challenges he faces as a ham.
