There will be a 2m ARDF (Amateur Radio Direction Finding) practice session on Saturday, March 13th starting at 10:00 AM at French Park. If you don’t have equipment, there is a limited number of antennas and receivers available for loan. Note the 10:00 AM start time is when the first hunter leaves the starting area, so plan on arriving a reasonable time beforehand. All skill levels are welcome!
French Park is located at the corner of Ridge Avenue and Section Road – 3012 Section Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45237. The start and finish area will be in the large parking lot halfway through the park on the left after entering from the main road.
Please let Brian K4BRI know in advance that you are attending and if you will need to borrow equipment. He can be reached via email at k4bri at gmail.com.
And if you have it, don’t forget your equipment:
- 2m Receiver
- 2m Yagi Antenna
- 8 1/2″ x 11″ Map Board
- Grease Pencil
- Compass
- Headphones
- Charged Batteries
